These are some of the workouts that keep me going without getting bored:
Treadmill – Endurance Workout
I tend to lose steam as I run, especially during a race when I’m going all out. During this run, I gradually increase my speed over time, forcing myself to run faster as I get tired.
- 6.0 mph – 0.25 – 0.50 mi (I count this as my warm up)
- 6.1 mph – 0.50 – 0.75 mi
- 6.2 mph – 0.75 – 1.0 mi
- 6.3 mph – 1.0 – 1.25 mi
- 6.4 mph – 1.25 – 1.50 mi
- 6.5 mph – 1.50 – 1.75 mi
- 6.6 mph – 1.75 – 2.0 mi
- 6.7 mph – 2.0 – 2.25 mi
- 6.8 mph – 2.25 – 2.5o mi
- 6.9 mph – 2.50 – 2.75 mi
- 7.0 mph – 2.75 – 3.0mi
- 4.0 mph – Walk to cool down (I walk until I hit 30 minutes)
